Dhaka Bank PLC Signs MoU with Banani Club Ltd. to Launch Exclusive Co-Branded Credit Card for Club Members
On June 18, 2026, Dhaka Bank PLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Banani Club Ltd. at the club premises to introduce an exclusive co-branded credit card for Banani Club members. This exclusive card is designed to enhance lifestyle, travel, and financial experiences by offering a range of benefits and rewards that add value to members’ everyday lives.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Emerging Market Officer; Mr. Akhlaqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director; and Mr. Sheikh Abdul Bakir, Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC. From Banani Club Ltd., Ms. Nazia Barkat, EC Member; Mr. S.M. Shamsuddin Bahar, EC Member; and Mr. Md. Monirul Islam Chowdhury, EC Member, were also present, along with other senior officials from both organizations.
The agreement was signed and exchanged by Mr. H. M. Mostafizur Rahaman, SEVP & Head of Retail Business Division of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Mr. Anik Ghosh, Member Finance of Banani Club Ltd.
The card will provide members with attractive benefits, including a waiver of the annual fee for the first three years and up to three free supplementary cards. Cardholders will enjoy premium travel services, including complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off, meet-and-greet assistance, eight complimentary global lounge accesses through LoungeKey, unlimited access to the Balaka Lounge, and access to more than 1,600 airport lounges worldwide. The card also offers exclusive hotel privileges, including Buy 1 Get Up to 3 Free buffet offers, financial protection through Dhaka Bank’s Quintuple Credit Shield with coverage of up to BDT 4 million, a 0% EMI facility for up to 24 months and lifestyle benefits, including discounts at more than 10,000 partner merchants across the country.
