The Premier Bank PLC celebrated its 27th anniversary on Monday under the slogan “27 Years of Legacy, Rebuild on Trust” at its head office in Shanta Pinnacle in the capital, according to a press release.
As part of the celebration, dedicated officials were honoured for their long-standing service and commitment to the bank.
Founder shareholder and Chairman Arifur Rahman attended the programme as the chief guest.
Among others, Independent Director and Premier Bank Securities Limited Chairman M Nurul Alam, Independent Director and Executive Committee Chairman Syed Faridul Islam, Independent Director and Risk Management Committee Chairman Md Sazzad Hossain, and Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz were present.
Speaking at the event, Arifur Rahman emphasised the importance of responsible and sustainable banking practices.
“We are moving Premier Bank forward on the path of integrity and transparency by putting an end to past irregularities. Protecting depositors’ interests, exploring new opportunities, expanding the bank’s reach, enhancing service quality and earning customers’ trust require well-planned decisions and sustained collective efforts,” he said.
Md Monzur Mofiz said the sincere efforts of employees and the continued trust of customers had been the key driving forces behind the bank’s progress over its 27-year journey.
“Grounded in integrity, transparency and good governance, we are moving forward towards a sustainable future,” he added.
