ONE Bank PLC has appointed A Y M Mostafa as Additional Deputy Managing Director (ADMD). In his new role, he will lead the bank’s technology and digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on driving innovation, strengthening technology infrastructure and supporting the bank’s strategic growth.
A seasoned technology professional, Mostafa brings more than 22 years of experience in banking technology, digital transformation and enterprise architecture. Before joining ONE Bank, he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Prime Bank PLC. Earlier, he held senior technology leadership positions at United Commercial Bank PLC and BRAC Bank PLC.
Throughout his career, Mostafa has led several large-scale technology transformation initiatives, including core banking modernization, digital banking platforms, payment systems, AI-driven solutions and enterprise infrastructure projects.
His extensive experience is expected to further strengthen ONE Bank’s digital capabilities, enhance operational resilience and support the delivery of more efficient and innovative banking services to customers.
Mostafa holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Khulna University. He has also completed executive studies in FinTech at Harvard University.
