German Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Rüdiger Lotz visited BRAC University and held discussions with university leaders on potential areas of collaboration in higher education, research, innovation, public health, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
During the visit, Ambassador Lotz met with Vice-Chancellor Professor Syed Ferhat Anwar and other senior university officials. The discussions focused on strengthening partnerships between BRAC University and German institutions, with particular emphasis on academic excellence, research impact, knowledge exchange and creating meaningful opportunities for students and researchers.
Ambassador Lotz also toured the university campus and appreciated BRAC University’s efforts in research, innovation, inclusion and community engagement. He also praised the university’s environmentally conscious approach to urban campus design.
The visit reflected a shared commitment to strengthening academic and cultural exchanges between Bangladesh and Germany while exploring new avenues for collaboration in the years ahead.
